A Canapé Reception for the European Tourism Association

Prior to their 2015 City Fair event at Wembley Stadium, the European Tourism Association (ETOA) hosted a welcome reception for their delegates at the Tower of London.

This was a great opportunity for networking in advance of the City Fair, and delegates were treated to a private tour of the Crown Jewels in the Jewel House, also taking in the Traitor Gates and other fascinating areas of the Tower, followed by drinks and canapés in the spectacular historical setting of the White Tower.

After their tour, guests received a warm welcome into the White Tower, with arrival drinks including sparkling elderflower, red and white wines, and juices. Once guests were settled into the venue, we offered around a range of delicious canapés. Cold options included chicken and tarragon ballotine with crème fraîche, rolled bresaola with chill cream black olive bread and oven dried tomato with ricotta cheese crostini. We also offered a selection of savoury cones included smoked salmon mousse with black sesame seeds and dill and porcini mushroom and pickled vegetable.

For dessert guests enjoyed strawberry cones with Chantilly and mini citrus tarts with crème fraîche. Once guests had their fill of the treats on offer, speeches were made and we presented a bottle of Moet Champagne to the lucky winner of the ETOA’s raffle.

We were delighted to host this lively event, which was an excellent way for delegates to begin their City Fair experience.

"We organised a Drinks reception at the Tower of London for our delegates; Ampersand provided the catering and took care of the logistics needed for the event. Working with Ampersand catering has been a delightful experience, a very professional team ready to help and deliver your event, where even the smallest details were very well considered.

I highly recommend Ampersand Catering.”
