The Ampersand Team recommended the venue for its unique gravitas which would complement the occasion perfectly, especially when guests dined under the dramatic ceiling painted by Rubens.

The Event
This was Ampersand’s first event at the venue and it was a superb
occasion for all. 300 guests enjoyed a champagne reception in the
Undercroft followed by a delicious menu of slow confit of Scottish
salmon, nori seaweed, shaved fennel & miso dressing to start,
followed by roast & confit barbary duck with bok choi & spiced
Oriental jus and to top off the night a scrumptious pavlova of summer
fruits with passion fruit coulis & crème anglaise.
Our client was delighted and commented:
