Middle Temple

Situated in the heart of London’s legal quarter, this imposing and breath-taking event space guarantees a night to remember! Middle Temple Hall is one of the four ancient Inns of Court, and the role it still plays in today’s legal profession has led to Middle Temple playing host to some of the most exclusive events London has seen.
One of the finest examples of an Elizabethan Hall in the country, the Hall provides a dramatic backdrop for corporate receptions, dinners, and wedding receptions. With historical gems such as the bench table, made from a single oak tree and believed to be a gift from Elizabeth I, to an elaborate carved screen made in 1574, there are plenty of talking points within this iconic venue. It is not difficult to be impressed by the gravitas of the venue, as guests dine within the same four walls that saw generations of Royalty, not to mention countless Law Lords, and leading explorers such as Sir Walter Raleigh and Sir Francis Drake.

Over in the Bench Apartments, there are three exquisite rooms, each offering something a little different. With stunning views of the gardens leading to Embankment, an intricate ceiling and wall panelling, the Parliament Chamber provides a delightful backdrop for receptions prior to formal dinners in the main hall, or alternatively a dinner hosted here will still have your guests beaming. The Queen’s Room named after HM Queen Mother offers a certain elegance and is perfect for an intimate lunch or dinner. The Prince’s room flanked by surrounding historic buildings, this refined room with its sumptuous honeyed oak panelling is a wonderful space for a drinks reception prior to dinner elsewhere.

The gardens of Middle Temple are simply an incredible addition to an already fantastic event space. With over 1000 square metres of beautiful lawns, this tranquil oasis can accommodate a marquee or a gorgeous garden party - it is hard to believe that this exquisite event space is just moments away from the bustle of City life.
