Alexandra Palace

Sitting proudly above North London is an iconic building offering unrivalled views of the city. Alexandra Palace can host anything from exhibitions, conferences, concerts, sports events, live music, award ceremonies, to board meetings, training sessions and film crews. This important historical gem is the perfect backdrop to impress your guests, no matter what your event may be.

At the top of Alexandra Park’s vast tree-lined hill, amidst 196 acres of tranquil lawns, you will find Alexandra Palace. Famously known as the ‘People’s Palace’, it first opened its gates in 1873 and has survived two fires, hosted the first ever television broadcast, and accommodated millions of people at extraordinary events.

The Palace’s extensive range of halls and spaces, many of them blank canvases, can be fully themed and transformed to create the perfect event setting. With additional outdoor space, ideal for corporate fun-days, weddings, marquees, film shoots, family fun days and team-building events, there is no end to what the Alexandra Palace can offer.

Combine all this with Ampersand’s luxurious canapés and lavish seated dinners and your guests will truly be in for a treat!

A beautifully decorated space in the style of the Italian Renaissance, the Londesborough Room is a prestigious space ideal for cocktail receptions, banqueting and private parties. The room is available with daylight or blackout conditions. Glazed doors lead onto the terrace where panoramic views of London can be enjoyed.

The Palm Court Suite consists of five rooms, which can be hired individually or together, complete with all private amenities. Ideal for conferences and company away days, these practical rooms vary in size to accommodate 10-75 people.

The well-proportioned Palace Suite offers excellent facilities. High quality decor and low lighting create a striking setting with an intimate atmosphere. Hand painted murals create a trompe l'oeil effect of Italian courtyards complete with wandering peacocks.

Capable of housing an audience of between 500 and 2,500, the West Hall can be either self-contained or used in conjunction with the Great Hall or Palm Court. Built to exclude all daylight, with an uninterrupted floor space, this is a perfect venue for exhibitions, product launches, banquets and large-scale conferences.

The Panorama Room is acontemporary structure within the elegant Victorian façade, offering breath-taking views from the front terrace and plenty of natural light. Suitable for a wide range of events, the space can house from 400-800 guests.

Alexandra Palace's largest hall is a picture of Victorian elegance, providing the perfect setting for large-scale events and exhibitions. The pillar-free Great Hall can be combined with the West Hall to create one of the most impressive and versatile indoor spaces available.

The Ice Rink can be hired by itself or used as an added extension to any event held elsewhere in the Palace – the ultimate exciting surprise for your guests!
