Situated in the heart of the city, this medieval Grade I building has been a home to the City of London Corporation for the past 800 years, hosting banquets for visiting Heads of State, royal occasions and receptions.

With a clientele that includes international companies and charities, Guildhall is truly the best of both the old and modern. A fascinating history lends ambience to parties and events.

Follow in the steps of thousands and enjoy a stylish black-tie gala dinner in the Great Hall, one of Guildhall’s many spectacular event spaces. It’s fair to say that the hall lives up to its name: it is 6,296sq ft with a breathtakingly high, arched ceiling and Gothic stained glass windows. It’s also the ultimate location for a 900-strong reception or a 700-seated formal dinner.

Other rooms include the Victorian Old Library and the Grade II listed Livery Hall. Lunches, dinners and presentations are perfect against their backdrop and we can cater for your every need.

You can venture down to the East and West Crypts, London’s largest medieval crypts. The East Crypt is the oldest part of Guildhall and dates back to Edward the Confessor. Meanwhile, the West Crypt was built in the 12th century but collapsed after the Great Fire of London. Extensive restoration in the 1970s allowed it to reopen; now both crypts create an atmospheric setting for a dinner by candlelight.
